What I love about you at three months...
Dear Sadie, my sweet girl, you are three months old today, and here's what I love about you...
- That you are going to bed earlier and sleeping later
- That you are slowly getting yourself into a daily routine
- You aren't peeing on us anymore when we change your diaper
- How you spit your paci out half way then suck it back in
- You are starting to realize we want to comfort you when you're upset
- You like to hold and touch my fingers
- How you smack your lips together after I give you mylicon
- How you wrap your arm around my neck when I hold you
- You can go to bed on your own, without "props"
- You cry less and smile more
- How happy you are on your changing table
- That you are on the verge of a giggle, I just know it
- How your personality shines through more and more everyday
- I can make you smile all the time
- Taking you on walks around the neighborhood
- The super long hairs on your head, that must have started growing at conception
- When you "talk" to me with your coos
- How content you can be at times, just looking around
- The noise you make when you smile, that isn't quite a giggle
- Your smiles, and how I can't get enough of them
- Your sleepers that have little animals on the footies
- That you like watching TV, just like me
- That you like watching football on TV, just like daddy
- You smile at me when I come to get you out of your crib in the morning
- The way you smell after a bath
- How you put your arms to your side when you're ready to be swaddled
- The way you smile & stretch in the mornings when I've unswaddled you
- That you have found your thumb and love to suck on it
- Seeing you take naps on daddy's chest
- That you are such a good baby
- That you were such a good girl at your trial run at daycare You know that I can comfort you
- How you can reach out and grab things
Love, your mommy
